“Cyber Security” Awards Honor Women Leaders at National
Level” Washington, November 16, 2005. The
Women's High Tech Coalition and Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) honored
U.S. Rep. Mary Bono (R-Calif.) and two officials working on Homeland Security
during the 2005 Women in
Cyber Security Awards Wednesday at a luncheon held in Washington, DC. Rep. Bono
was recognized for her leadership in combating spyware through legislation she
introduced that is under consideration in the United States House of Representatives.

An Evening ‘Meet-Up’ Cocktail Party
with Several VIP Guests New York, New York June 24, 2004. Fifty
women from business, the not-for-profit community and entrepreneurs gathered
for a mix and mingle “meet up”. Members of the NY Planning Committee brought
together a cross section of VIPs: Diana Taylor, New York State Superintendent
of Banks; Lynn Rollins, Senior Advisor to the NY Governor and President of
the National Women’s History Museum and Leadership Center; Michael
Gianaris, State Assemblyman; Pat Skarulis, CIO Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer
Center; Terri Bischoff, CEO Greater New York Red Cross; and Gerri Elliott,
Corporate Vice President US Enterprises Microsoft.

Women's High Tech Coalition hosts luncheon for
U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow. June 17, 2004. Bush Administration's
Cabinet Member Discusses High Tech Federal Policy Issues with Silicon Valley
Executives. U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow, a prominent member of President
Bush's Cabinet and key advisor to the President on financial and economic
issues, addressed the Women’s High Tech Coalition during a luncheon co-sponsored by eBay
and Solectron. Cynthia Johnson, VP at Agilent; Laura Ipsen, VP at Cisco, and
Sharon Matthews, VP at Solectron spoke at the event in which the Secretary focused
many of his comments on the recovering U.S. economy, noting "[the U.S.] had the
strongest three quarter growth rate in almost 20 years, averaging an annual rate
of 5.6 percent".

"Technology for Homeland Security” on April 23, 2004 in Washington,
D.C. Speakers included Dr. Jane Alexander, Deputy Director HSARPA,
US Department of Homeland Security and Catherine Santana, Director, Resource
Management Transformation Office (RTMP), US Department of Homeland Security.

San Francisco Holds First Event on March 29, 2004 . WHTC San Francisco
launched its first program at Wells Fargo Bank. The topic was "The Business Imperative
of Privacy as Competitive Advantage." The keynote speaker is Doreen Woo Ho, President,
Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Group. Doreen Woo Ho was voted one of the top 25
women in banking in North America by the U.S. Banker Magazine.

WHTC Holds Silicon Valley Event on the Economy
and Technology. Los Altos Hills, CA. December 2, 2003. The Women's
High Tech Coalition, The Honorable Zoe Lofgren(WHTC National Chair),
and The Honorable Anna Eshoo and The Honorable Mike Honda were pleased
to announce The West Coast Fall Event, "A Conversation on the Economy and Technology” with
Democratic Co-Chair, The Honorable Nancy Pelosi and Congresswoman Mary
Bono. Hosted by Ellen Hancock.

The Women’s High Tech Coalition holds “Capital
Ideas” Program on Corporate Governance New York, NY. September
8, 2003. The Women’s High Tech Coalition held its second New York- “Capital
Ideas” program on September 8th at Citigroup Executive Center. The program
on corporate governance, featured U.S. Senator, New York, Hillary Rodham Clinton
and Sallie Krawcheck, Chairman & CEO of Smith Barney.

WHTC Holds Silicon Valley Event on Privacy Issues.
The Coalition hosted its second policy dialogue, "Privacy Issues Affecting American
Enterprises" on June 20, 2003, with prominent women CEOs and executives, legislators,
community leaders and press.

WHTC New York Launches Capital Event. "The
Women's High Tech Coalition's (WHTC) first New York event, "Women and Access
to Capital", was held on April 14, 2003.

November 20, 2003 - Washington, D.C.. Members special
breakfast dialogue, "Technology
in the Upcoming 2004 Election Year" with WHTC Honorary Co-Chair Zoe Lofgren U.S.
Congresswoman, California. Rep. Lofgren is a long-time supporter
of WHTC and a standout in Congress with respect to technology
issues. This special breakfast gave WHTC members an inside
look at upcoming technology issues during the 2004 election
year.

Navy Meets the Coalition and WIT on Capitol Hill.
Chief of Naval Research Rear Admiral Jay Cohen and Ms. Susan
Bales, Commercial Transition Technology Officer, Office of
Naval Research, U.S. Navy presented to an audience of 100
on the technology and products needed to upgrade the Navy's
current fleet of aircraft carriers. Co-sponsored by WHTC
and Women in Technology.

Coalition
Briefed by FCC Commissioner. Before the FCC decision
about media ownership, WHTC was briefed by FCC Commissioner
Kathleen Abernathy. On May 6, 2003, Women's High Tech hosted
FCC Commissioner Kathleen Abernathy and BellSouth's Margaret
Greene, the incoming chair of the United States Telecom
Association.
